Modern Dining Room Chairs made of wood can add a classic style to your home while lending itself fun or finesse, depending on how you finish them. While wooden chairs can be purchased at most furniture stores, you can create your own home with just basic woodworking skills. When your wood pieces are cut, you should be able to make a chair for one to two hours, with a full set taking just one day.
Create a square shape on the ground with 10-inch discs and 12-inch discs. Make sure the boards rest on their 1-inch width with 12-inch discs encapsulating the cut ends of the 10-inch discs. Center the 1-foot square aboard the Modern Chairs frame and smooth the edges. Turn the unit on one side with the two screw sides running upright. Place the two 20-inch slices on the ground and put one end of each board to the inside of the square frame. Screw two 2-inch screws through each board and into the frame to connect the front legs of the chair.
Place the two 40-inch discs vertically on a flat surface that runs parallel and spaced 6 inches apart. Align the back cover to the upper edges of the long boards. Insert 3-inch screws through the back panel and into the boards below every 3 inches. Turn the seat part so that the front legs of the chair protrude into the air and the side of the frame opposite the legs is the front side down. Place the Dining Room Chairs on the top of the rear unit. Space the seat to rest 2 inches below the bottom of the chair’s back. Use 2-inch screws through the frame and screw into the 40-inch discs.
